Terms of Use
Effective October 4, 2026
By installing or using SettlementBooks you agree to these terms.
The beta
The beta version is free and provided for testing. It may contain mistakes and may change between versions. The beta stops accepting new entries after December 31, 2026; information already entered remains viewable and can be backed up.
Not tax, legal or accounting advice
SettlementBooks helps you organize records and does arithmetic on the information you enter or import. It does not give tax, legal or accounting advice. You are responsible for checking your records and for your tax filings, IFTA and other returns, and compliance obligations. Review important figures with a qualified professional.
Your data and backups
Your information is stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups. We can’t recover data that is lost with a phone or deleted by uninstalling the app.
Paid plans
When SettlementBooks is released on Google Play, paid plans (Solo and Fleet) will be billed through Google Play subscriptions under Google Play’s billing terms, and can be canceled there.
Acceptable use
Don’t reverse engineer, resell or redistribute modified copies of the app, or use it for anything unlawful.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, SettlementBooks and its owners are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, penalties or lost data arising from use of the app, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed.
